Ok folks, nice little sub forum bit going on here! I've never squonked, but think I'd like to. Budget is fairly low though.

Firstly, which reasonably cheap options are out there? (Not the Kanger one though). Is there an ideal 'starter' squonker out there?

Secondly, where do you go for bottom fed rda's? I see there was a thread about a conversion kit for the Sapor which sounds perfect.

Finally, I see m-Vapes have moved premises and have none of their wooden mods on the site at the moment. Any of you lovely folk in regular contact with him, and maybe no when he might have some squonkers up for sale?

Any answers to any of the above would be much appreciated. I'm just kinda putting the feelers out at the moment.

Hiya bud welcome ti our little bit, not a huge choice of budget mods tbh,tge dripbox is great with a better atty on it or there's the steamcrave if you prefer regulated. Svapiamo do some decent budget offerings or there's the kangxin 60w too. Few cheap 3d printed mechs at low £ but built to a price. Used is a great option for first time. Attys wise yeah mvapes,hastur v2,velocity mini,zenith 2.5 etc all good value-obviously converting an atty you already have would help keep costs down

Maybe I'll look at the dripbox for an entry level option then. I love my Sapor so might buy a second for squonking. It's something I wanna try out. I rarely use rda's, but love the flavour. At work it's just more practical to have tanks, and at home I just get bored of physically dripping every few minutes. This could be the way forward for me. [emoji12]

I have been joined the FB group for mushroom mods, but maybe think a cheaper option would be better just to test the water. Cheers @hodge40.

@tobywonkanobi I'll be fair the only reason I didnae get the drip box straight away was my kanger reluctance due to past experiences.
However, the drip box is a not bad wee bit of kit. For £32 you won't go wrong. The only downside is the inevitable 'oh f-k this is good, must buy more better kit!'

I too am awaiting @m-vapes to release their new range as I'll never get a good spot on the queue for a mushroom mod.

a good squonk atty is the hastur v2 i use one on the kanger mod with a 0.32 ohm dual coil setup and get about a day out of a battery which is better than i thought as the coils supplied with the kanger are abit to low i found
