I thought mixing was supposed to be cheap

I think Vapefest is a once a year event, but any local meets are well worth turning up to. The ability to chat to other and often more experienced vapers is well worth it.

I made 150ml of vapeable juice in my first mixing session and I have enough concentrate left to make the same again, though I would need a bit more PG+VG total cost including syringes to last a year was £65. That gives me a cost per 10ml of about £2. Not cheap but compared to buying T-Juice premade at c.£4.50 a bottle it was a significant saving, and it only gets cheaper from here in as I now have the hardware. My first attempt at blending is going to be a sweet black coffee as I can't seem to find one on the market to try.

Did you get everything from T-Juice?

The only coffee juice I have tried so far quite frankly tasted like arse.

I used Leisure Liquids in the end, because I wanted a one stop shop. I think I could have got stuff cheaper by shopping around but all the sites, prices and delivery charges were giving me a headache.

So based on the aforementioned juices that I like (Plume's and ZT's) can you suggest any recipes that arent going to cost £30 in concentrates, and I can vape straight away whilst the custards are steeping?

I've not tried any of those.. yet.

I tend to like quite weak flavoring but here's a couple of my keepers.

1).

10% Lemon Sherbet (I've found Decadent Vapour to be the best)
2% Summer Berries (I'm using Nanny Bakes but she's stopped selling them now so substitute for any berries you like)
2% Sweetener
2 Drops of koolda per ml

2).
Chegs shared this one with me. It's his take on snake oil based on what people have mentioned being able to taste in the original. I don't like the original but love this one :)

' Licorice 3%
Blackcurrant 4%
Raspberry 4%
Lemon (drops or sherbet) 3%
Apple (green apple or whatever apple you have)6%

Koolada 1 drop per 1ml(or add extra until you get a good hit)'

I used anise instead of liquorice and tweaked the other percentages to taste as different vendors concentrates are different strengths so used what I have.

My tweaked version is;

2% Anise (Flavour Art)
2% Blackcurrant (Inawera)
3% Raspberry (Capella)
3% Lemon sherbert (Decadent Vapour)
7% Apple (Flavour Art)
2% Sweetener
2 drops of Koolda per ml

The above 2 are my all day Vapes.

Maybe chegs will chip in as he's apparently got a load of recipes.

Also I use a couple of recipe sites for ideas.

I placed my first order with Leisure last night. Previously bought from different vendors but you tend to get bent over with P&P charges shopping around.

They've a good choice of concentrates..
Mom and Pops,
Capella,
T-Juice (cheaper than T-Juice)
Perfumers Apprentice
Inawera
Flavor West
Tasty Puff
Seedman

If you want wrong you should try the herb de Provence and white grape mix I had made up at the Decadent Vapour stall. It needs a lot more fruit and a lot less herb, but I think it could end up an interesting experiment. That said I seem to be one of the few people that likes Green Steam (though oddly only in the morning) so maybe I just have odd tastes.

I would say odd tastes, your talking to me :28:

Nope, I like green steam too. Have you tried quintessence yet? It's similar but more complex. It has that herby flavour and a sort of wine taste to it too (it's meant to be port I think but as I don't drink I couldn't tell you). It's one of my favourites and I was gutted tjuice didn't have any on Saturday.
I ended up getting carried away online shopping yesterday too and dropped another £50 on concentrates. I'm delighted to have finally found atmos labs in the uk. Mind you at £5 for 10ml I hope it's as good as I'm hoping (free shipping so it kind of evened out). I'm hoping this will be the cherry I've been looking for!

Bet you didn't buy any of DV's nic base though, I laughed my cock off at their prices on their website...

I love Quintessence, it goes great with Cider, I picked some up from the £1 sale box so I must have been there earlier than you ;) I think it is grape, herbs and brandy. In fact I am vaping homebrew Quintessence as I type :D
