I want to make a mod

Just woke up so might regret this later, but had a brain wave that the easiest thing to make yourself a mod out of would be an old torch, it's already practically half built itself. :)

There's actually loads of youtube guides on this! I have an old lazer pointer lying around somewhere, and I have a feeling it uses an 18500 or 18650 battery, I might try to make that into a mod as it looks lovely and no longer works. If not - free battery.

funny you mention torches , fasttech did a run of mods that came wth a torch attachement a while back. think others were thinking on the same wavelength :P

I want to make a mechanical mod.

Pros: Gadget lover, previously electronics experience, engineering student, love to tinker

Cons: Tight student budget, no tools to hand (apart from a screwdriver)

Where do I even start with making a mechanical. Theoretically it shouldn't be too hard?

A firing mechanism, a tube and a 510 connector?

Here are some basic tutorials, the internals can be put into anything :D
