As Vaping in Germany falls under tpd rules, and Germany is part of the EU...

Am I right in thinking I wouldn't pay import/vat/customs charges, or face any problems with importing for personal use?

yeah your right, no additional charges from any EU member state, for now anyway

VAT you would pay when you bought it
No customs charges

No idea if you would face any problems.

The question is, why are Germany not hit by TPD? Do they have a different compliance date? Or are they just being a bit sensible about the whole thing by ignoring it?
