Loads of us on here have it, inc me. It was my first RTA that I could successfully build on consistently.

It has occured to me, that I ought to wait until i get this thing i've commisioned, cos i've no idea what it looks like yet. I'd been offered the Sub Ohm version of the Doggy...but i think i'll start with a MTL tank first. How low a build can one do on that? 1.0 ohm say?

Yank pipers, surely not! Pipe smoking (and epipers now) is a British trend!
Then again..you did say their forum was pretty dead! Says it all really!

I know pipe vaping doesn't have a big following...(yet!), but for us few enthusiasts...it'll be nice to have somewhere to put al pipe related stuff in one place on here. Who knows, might draw out some of the lurkers into pipes!

My standard build always used to be just under 1 ohm, however if you can't control the watts, I would suggest 1.2 ohm or higher. I found the Doggy got a bit warm over 15 watts.

1.2 to 1.4 works a tray as long as you throttle down the Power
For the Pipe I am building to get the best battery life I can. 18350 don’t like getting walloped

A 1.2 ohm build could work. A mech fitted with a 18350 battery, i think id be too wary about over stressing the battery, although i gather the lastest 18350s are now good for 10 amps or so. But even so, anything too low on a mech, the battery will most likely need changing too often.
