Is an evod the best choice?

Morning all, I really want to stop using ce4's the things are a curse. Several people have suggested I move on to evods. Was just wishing to hear your opinions on them?

I really want a set up that is easy to fill up and clean (especially after changing flavour eliquid). I also want something where I don't get that gurgling. It also needs to be easy to fill up.

I'm not looking for anything to fancy. But need something that is decent and is going to work. I would also like the device to be flush with my ego battery. I did look at the mini nova but it looked real strange on an ego battery.

Could someone one please explain what the different ohm's mean?

Thanks.

Evods are a very good choice in my opinion, they are a mainstay of my kit, i also have a few protanks and minis.
They all use the same coils and for the most part are very reliable, just make sure you purchase the genuine ones!

The Ohms are the power going through your coil, the higher the ohm, the more oomph you need from your battery. Non variable voltage/wattage batteries provide about 3.7 volts of power to your coils. Anything over 2ohms, will probably produce little flavour or vapour. I use about 1.2-1.8 ohms on my mechanical mods and ego style batteries to get more from them. Lower ohms also produce a warmer vaper than higher ohms.

If you have VV or VW you can use pretty much anything above 1.3 ohms.

Vaping is so customisable it's just a matter of finding your "Vape Happy"

I would go with Evods or the Kanger Mini Protanks... make sure theyre the real deal made by Kanger though as some of the knock offs arent as great!

cheers mate, have you got any recommendations what I should buy with the replaceable coils to go with it? I will be using them on two 650 mAh ego batteries.

Thanks a lot.

Yeah evods are sound, I use em all the time. And they're cheap, so you could buy a few instead of cleaning em out when you want a juice change.

There are plenty of excellent vendors on here that you can purchase evods from.
You can buy spare coils, the protanks also come with a spare.

I find a few spare coils are handy to have, you can also go down the route of rewicking and coiling the heads that burn out, plenty of vids on that and a thread on 'how to'
Evods have about 1 ml capacity and the protanks have 2.5 ml capacity, they are both straight forward to use and cleaning is easy as well.

hello mate, well I have two ego 650 mAh batteries. One is a standard one that gets 3.3 volts and the ego+ one I have can do 3.3 or 4.2 volts. So I will stick with your recommendation of 1.2-1.8 ohms. I do prefer a warmer vape.

What do you think is best the kanger or evods? I'm only buying genuine stuff now. The amount of crap I've had off ebay.

Thanks
