Good Afternoon Gents,
Thanks for all your thoughts and information, some really impressive suggestions and a wealth of knowledge. I thought I'd share my findings this week.
I changed my OFRF Nexmesh coil sunday evening, so that I could give the Apple Crumble Custard from Primevapes a go. I've heard good things and it's my all time favourite flavour and I have to be honest it didn't disappoint. Bloody lovely stuff (Cheers Lee).
However, as of now (17:05) the coil is a goner. As a reminder I vape on a Geekvape Aegis X with OFRF Nexmesh Conical mesh premade coils @ 60w standard. Upon inspection of the Apple Crumble shortfill (70VG 0mg Nicotine), I've vaped through a very close approximation of 30ml of the juice in 72 hours. It has now near on lost all flavour and upon removal of the coil it was absolutely smothered in residue and actually a part at the bottom broke away so it's possible that it was faulty. I also appreciate that an apple crumble is high in sweetener.
So I guess I now have a follow on question from my original post, I had thought originally that poorer quality ingredients/materials were being used in juices which were causing the coils to last less time but is it possible that actually it's the manufacturers using poorer quality components/wick? When I inspect the nexmesh pre made coils to of the entry points for the juice the wick appears very thin almost to the point you cna see the metalwork behind it.
Ultimately, I made the switch back to premade coil tanks for convenience having switched to drippers, squonkers and rebuildables for nearly 2 years. However, if I'm going to be burning through coils every 3/4 days through 30/40ml of juice then it'll be financially extortionate!
Might be time for me to switch back to some of the purple monster/grape freezes etc that are my second go-to and then report back on the coil life. In the coil that I've replaced it with today I have gone for Primevapes again Breezy Berry (70VG 0mg Nicotine) so we'll see how I get on and report back!
