Is pure cotton safe to use in a vape?

Hi im new to the vaping scene, but i live far from the nearest vendor.( im currently working at a cotton farm)
So it is difficult to get any of the necessary supplies for my vape...
Will the cotton harvested here on the farm be safe to use in my vape?

If it's natural and not been processed with anything it wont kill you. I used a cotton ball yesterday because at work I forgot my kit. Im still here. Some apes have used tampons to good effect to get them out of a tight spot. Go for it until you can get some that you like.

i dont make my own coils so have never looked into buying cotton.

Without knowing anything other than a cotton farm it would be hard for anyone to say if its safe

Pesticide residue might be a concern with cotton you're going to be inhaling directly off. Even working on the farm, it might be better to avoid that by ordering something in as already suggested.

Absurd as it may feel, with fields of the stuff right there.
