Hey guys right I'm going to mix my own liquids for the first time!!!

unsure weather I like pg or vg based so need to do some tests. Going to order a deluxe mixing kit from leisureliquids.co.uk.

ill have a 72mg pg based nic
1 bottle of vg and 1 pg.

basically as I don't know if vg is killing my lungs or pg I'm going to mix a pg and a vg base and test.

Basically can I mix 0.85 vg and 0.15 distilled water to give 1ml and vape that?? No nic or flavours just vg and water, then test 100% pg after to see if that's the issue. Do I just use 100% pg and vape.?

ill then add flavours to see if that's it then nic solution to eliminate everything?

I have a pg sensitivity this is the one most people have a reaction to as VG is a natural product and PG is man made I have to have at least a 60vg 40PG mix my normal is 80VG 20PG though - I would suggest that you use the distilled water with the VG as the VG alone would be really thick - you can buy premade AG though which is aqueous glycerine VG mixed with distilled water basically 85VG 15Distilled water - but yeah all in your Idea seems sound - Good luck with it and I hope you find a solution.

Cheers dude well I'm vaping a 18mg tobacco flavour 70vg and 30 pg at the moment my first ever juice and it's so heavy on the throat and lungs no matter how I inhale it.

if I try it my way would I need to change attys everytime as wicks will be saturated in previous mix??

Also if I wanted to make say 1ml how would I mix it properly if I wanted a 80/20 pg vg?
Baring in mind my nice pg based. I'd want outcome of 10 mg strength.

So to find my ideal mix I'd need lots of samples right?

10/90
20/80
30/70
40/60
50/50

all in vg and pg then in pg / vg so 10 samples??

Can I then just add nic and flavour to these samples afterwards?

you may need lower nic too because a 70%vg juice wouldnt normlly be paticularly heavy on your lungs

It's heavy even after 2 puffs on the juice.

would high nic give heavy lung / cough reaction??

yeah if you're nic is too high it will make you cough and will feel heavier as nic content also contributes to throat hit try 12mg or 14mg also are you inhaling directly to the lungs you should try sucking the vapor into your mouth hold it for a second then inhale

will I need to change attys after each new mix because wicks will be coated in old mixes??

Sounds like a good plan, you are best off leaving your mixes for 48 hrs before using them and giving them plenty of shakes to help the liquids to blend/emulsify. My friend had problems with the vg making him cough up slime and some flavourings are not safe to inhale, so breaking it down to your original plan seems to be the best way forward imo.
