Yep.

I really hope this is the final lockdown we have to suffer. I just can't wait to be able to see my parents for the first time since Xmas 2019. That, and being able to meet mates at pubs again.

I suppose I "should" be saying things like "Not having to wait 5 months for a Neurologist appt"? but somehow I can't see the Poor Old NHS recovering quickly.

I can not bring myself to think that this is it, yet.

It will arrive gradually.
I am looking forward firstly to the time when we can invite our friends for a garden barbie and/or house party if that is allowed.
Summer, hopefully traveling some of the less visited parts of Scotland.
Autumn if possible, visit my son in Austria before spending most of the winter in the Balkans.

If I thought this was it, I would already be booking cheap flights and accommodation for the later part of the year but there are still too many uncertainties for me.

i hope this is the start of it. We shall see.

Yep. Miss my 2 kids, in their 20s and my little Granddaughter who will me 5 in March, was 3 last time she hugged me!!

As I'm no longer in the UK, I'll only really be happy when my mum is able to fly over and visit us in our new home for the first time. I know how much she's missing her grandchildren. My dad came over shortly after we moved but my mum couldn't as she was shielding. It will be a happy day when it can pick her up from the airport this end [emoji16].

Chemo starts tomorrow then I'm on 12 weeks self-isolation, you guys enjoy what you can cos come week 13 I'm f*ckin offski in the motorhome!!!
