What's new

Is this normal?

Some mixes do go cloudy, I done a fruit mix a week ago now, and it's still cloudy. Nothing to worry about at all it's still perfectly fine to vape, but so far mine hasn't cleared. I've not got to the bottom of why it's like this, but it's clear that there's some sort of reaction that's taken place.

As far as smell is concerned, what percentages did you mix at, for the mint, and the cream?

Generally mint vapes are good to go straight away, though I like to give my mixes time to settle in. Creams on the other hand, take weeks/months to really come out in all their glory.

It's a single concentrate, creme de'menth (or something like that) To make it 7mg i used 0.9ml nicotine. Definitely no more as i used a 1ml syringe.

Also, when i opened the 50ml (72mg base) nicotine, it stinks. Horrible. Is this normal. Bought from the alchemists cupboard.

That's not making sense to me whatsoever bud.. How much of the concentrate did you put into the mix? What are you using to work out how much you need to mix?

Is the nicotine in a PG form, or VG?

creme de'menth is a mint liqueur has nothing to do with menthol.
A single flavour mix is easy it is just a matter of finding the best percentage then deciding if it is to your taste or not, then could it be improved with another flavour.
Earlier I thought you were mixing a menthol flavour with some sort of creamy flavour.

I'd guess..

55/45
Vg/pg
15% flavour
0.9nic (72 > 7)

1.5 flavour (pg)
0.9 Nic (pg)
2.1 Pg

5.5 vg

Unless op reads product descriptions, or is told correct info from b&m, can you see how they got creamy menthol from crème de menth?

I've attached a photo of the app i used to calculate the mix. I was slightly out in my descriptions above but it was mixed as per the attached.

Right ok, so it's 15% concentrate then, that's a decent starting point. Give it a few days to steep, chuck it in a cupboard or somewhere dark.

In a few days, go back to it, give it a little test, and see what you think. If it's not strong enough, then increase the percentages a bit more, then steep for a few more days, and so on.

VG nicotine tends to have a slight pepper smell to it, when you initially take off the lid. May be worth contacting Alchemist if it's worse, also it should be a clear color, sometimes with a slight tinge.

Thanks. Will do mate. I just checked it again there and its completely clear now. The bubbles return if i shake it but my normal juices do that aswell. Flavour smell still isn't really there but i'll give it a few days.

Live and learn... :)
