What's new

Isolated by weather

Oh we can't do without our booze, eh! lol!

I had gin in the flat but as it was the first time I had managed to get out since Weds I thought I would try for the booze shop at the back of the flat! Wont be venturing out again til it clears.

Might as well make use of the snow whilst it’s here

Itried a gin cocktail for the first time ever, a few weeks ago, and must say I rather liked it! As a unofficial member of the warm beer brigade, I've steered clear of most spirits, bar the odd glass of liqueur, and I quite like a glass of Rioja from time to time. If it's a spirit i'm after then I'll plump for a Southern Comfort...or two! But ...yeh..getting back to topic....Gin mixes are okay.

I was given a prosecco with rhubarb and ginger gin a few months ago, had seconds of it :D

Normally I am a bourbon gal but got into my gins and tend to buy a different one each time my bottle is empty, just screwed up badly with my last bottle and it will be rehomed!

I like a gin and tonic now and then. It’s nice with a sprig of rosemary in it. You can also make a bloody mary with gin instead of vodka.

Just like i'm 'screwing up' with every blinkin ejuice flavour at the moment! Not found anything really nice at the moment, some are downright weird! Just tried Halo Popular Blend....meh...another one for the bin. :puke:

It's expensive starting off, eh! But not as expensive as ciggys thank goodness.

@theDuke go back to basics, mix single flavours and from there you can tweak a mix of them in a 5 or 10 ml bottle.

Start a thread with what you are trying to do, what you have done and we will guide you.

I am on the basics Pepper! I'm only using pre made 10ml bottles (wouldn't be bad idea if one could get even smaller 'tasters' bottles).....as some the flavours are revolting. I'm having to add menthol or something else, just so can I vape them, but not very enjoyably. The Halo Popular Blend tastes like burnt dirt...and it's making me feel sick. I'm also trying out Hoxton British Tobbaco in my other tank...can't say I like that one either...tastes weird.

Does anybody do a package set of 'taster' of different flavours to try out?
