Itaste 134 mini confusion!

Hi all, I recently got the Itaste 134 mini and am using a bcc (protank 2 coils ranging from 1.5-2.5 ohms).

I seem to not be able to vape above 8 watts as it starts to give me the burnt taste. I tried different juices and it's the same. Tried a dual coil and again..the same issue.

How am I suppose to vape above 8 watts? What coil setup should I be using? If i have a 12.5 watt device that I've restricted myself to only using 8 watts I may sell it so need to know what I'm doing wrong.

That's sounds like a wicking issue to me.
The wickes can't keep up with the higher wattage.
As a suggestion, once it's settled for a few mins. Try Going up to 10 watts, and when you take a pull, try and go softly gently, as in don't suck to hard.
Personally i'm now using cotton in the coils, instead of the standard silica. I can get my vamo, up to 15 watts with a 1.5ohm coil, with no burning, unless I suck to hard.

Thanks for the reply, I think it may be that. I bought some pre coiled wicks...just the wire and silica and (partially) rebuilt the coils so they sit at 2 ohms. I'll try a brand new coil just to confirm then try cotton for the wick. Cheers muchly.
