...said the actress to the bishop
So I've taken my first tentative steps into the world of mixology. I wanted to make a low risk juice first, coconut, raspberry and BC, no nic (bedtime juice, remember that post?).
Some things right off the bat, it's going to be tricky to be accurate with these syringes, I can tell that already and the other thing..... these flavour concentrates all have dripping nozzles and the needle I have is too large to fit down the nozzle. Am I going to have to take the nozzle off each flavour every single time I want to make a juice?
I took the nozzles out but then you don't get an airtight seal it seems. Maybe I got something wrong, what are people doing about this?
Step two is mixing up the ethyl maltol. I'm finding some conflicting info on ratios, apparently you don't want an over saturated mix. 1g to 9ml pg is what is scientifically recommended for a stable solution although on here it says 10g/25ml which requires heat to dissolve fully but may result in a liquid that deteriorates over time and can be prone to crystal reformulation.
I don't know, I'm probably stressing too much about these details. I'll give something (I don't know what yet) a whirl and see what happens
