Hilarious example of knock off mods. I picked one up for taking to work, something dual-mech that was cheap & cheerful.
This is the only mech i ever had where making it more dangerous improves the experience
Basically, the throw of the firing button only just makes the contact & so the mod only fires half-arsed. The answer....
...1. Remove the switch assembly.
2. Get rid of the locking ring (because it's too thick & in the way of the switches travel)
3. Sand down the top facing edge of the switch's plastic housing (to allow a longer throw of the button)
4. get rid of the coil spring from the switch housing (because the button is too hard to press)
5. Put it back together & bingo ! Now it works.
This was almost an awesome mod, the rest of it is great, just that stupid over engineered switch (face palmmmm)
I might add some pics later.
Disclaimer - I'm not complaining, it's a clone & i know better so it's my fault. Just saying, it's both funny & stupid at the same time.
