JacVapour Vgo2 VV Kit - Some Questions

Hi Guys,

Bought a JacVapour Vgo2 VV kit - service from JacVapour has been really amazing - will say that before I say anything else - been a pleasure dealing with them from start to finish. Emails are responed to rapidly, kit turns up when its supposed to, just how it should be I guess !

At the moment I'm using a 2.4 ohm coil in the Nova tank and have the voltage around 3.8-4.3V area with the 80/20 PG/VG Banana Milkshake eliquid (18mg)

The main question I have is - should this be giving off a fair amount of vapour with this coil and voltage - as currently it isn't really.

There was a leak earlier that I fixed by taking the whole thing apart, washing it, drying it, replacing and centering the atomiser and then doing the whole thing
back up, leaving it to soak for 30mins and trying it - but the smoke I'm getting is still quite lacklustre.

I've heard that VG gives better vapour and worse taste - the taste isn't that prominent as it is with this PG based liquid. Wouldn't want it much worse than it is now.

I also tried a 1.8ohm coil at 3.6-3.8 ohm and that produced a reasonable amount of smoke but again nothing like I'm seeing in videos everywhere.

Am I missing something here ?

Also I have no idea what that connector at the bottom of the kit does, I'm guessing it provides a tighter connection to the tip of the battery but it doesn't seem to screw in or out a lot and I'm not really sure what I'm doing with it - that's the last connector that might be at fault if there is one at fault.

Anyway awesome forum had a lot of fun reading stuff here and thanks in advance ! :)

Hi ya,when you say the connector at the bottom of the kit do you mean the battery? I'm not family with ur set but sounds like might be variable voltage,in which case turn that up and you should get a better result

Hiya yeah it is a VV kit

http://jacvapour.com/crystal-mini-vgo2-manual-400-starter-kit-1131.html (is the kit) (with the 650mah batteries).

I've turned the voltage up but I never get a lot more smoke and it just eventually tastes chemically/burnt after a while.

The screw at the bottom is this one : http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/osjv6MNHGkg/maxresdefault.jpg (not me but someone took one on the internet)

It is at the bottom of the Nova and goes in or out to make a good connection with the battery by the looks of things.

Well I'd expect a half decent vape of that kit,not the clouds you see on the vids but decent, how long has the coil been in?

I've just put a fresh 2.4 in now as I replaced the one I had in it when I took the whole thing apart to stop the leaking. Will it start to produce more vapour after the first fill ?

Still can't figure out whether I need to screw that bottom inside screw in more or take it out more, having said that I don't even see it moving when I screw it, can't figure out what it even does !

the bottom bit is to be left alone, it is a spring loaded positive connector...it moves up and down by itself to make sure it is in contact with the battery

as we have no SI unit for vapour production, I cant help except to say that mini vivi nova (the thing supplied on top with your kit) is "ok" and 2.4ohm heads are "ok" but nothing stellar.

change to maybe an evod with a 1.8ohm head and perhaps you will see some more vapour. Just bear in mind the metric we are chasing isnt "vapour" it is "not having a cigarette"

Hi Vern,

Sorry for being an idiot but what is an SI unit ?

And I do fully appreciate the fact that I haven't smoked in 6 days now which in itself after 15 years is a bit of a miracle, so that on its own is great . . . but a bit more vapour would be lovely as I love a cloud of smoke :)

Also the spring loaded connector - on the JV site they mention that if you're not getting a good connection to screw this connector one way or the other - I've already done that a few times anti clockwise and clock wise and completely lost count of where I should have it - I guess now that wasn't such a good idea !

try taking longer draws, and not sucking so hard. Its not a cigarette. Dont smoke it, vape it.
Push the button about a second or two before putting the tip in your mouth..gives the little coil time to warm up and start its job.

longer, shallower puffs.....the coil has to warm up, make vapour etc. So more of a 5 second slow draw, than a 2 second suck

2.4 ohm heads wont give mega amounts of vapour plus with 80pg you'll get more throat hit than vapour more vapour comes from more vg.
