Pop over to 3D Hubs find a good reviewed printer, submit it and request its printed horizontal and not vertical.

Hi sorry for the zombie thread but I think you planted a seed. I'm gonna have a bash at making a couple of the these.

With regards to the copper sheet. How you get it to the correct shape? Was thinking of finding a local metal man (or whatever they're called) to make them up precisely as the drawings show.

It's as easy as folding cardboard bud. You can just.shape it around wood blocks. Or a cheap vice is a boon.

Sweet what thickness would you use? As for the holes can they be drilled I have a makita with some big saw bits?

I'll be honest check with the mod makers for the most efficient thickness for conduction. I use various thicknesses for guitar shielding to scratch plates. Warming your fold area with one of those wind proof lighters helps too. But remember that heat quickly conducts and realy isn't necessary for simple folds. I'm currently beefing up the geyscano squonk mod I won in the nw meet competition. But I'm using low loss oxygen free copper wire for that and a yihi sx board. (Good tip the elephone 80w mod that gearbest sell for £20 contains a genuine yihi sx board and cradle). Maybe useful for further squonk projects.
