pretty much yeah. none of my dna devices were set up "good" from the factory. you are gonna want to download escribe and set up some profiles for vaping. Which device do you have, i may have a profile already i can send you to load in and you can fine tune it form there to how you like itOk just got my first DNA mod . Do i need to do ecribe? Ok so Im already lost . Watt hours ?? Yer I do want to play around with the tc as that's what I thought the DNA was good for ? Do I have 2 change the type of wire in settings or ecribe.only thing is putting the watt hours for the batteries, depending on what and if you want tc wire etc put on it
DNA's are great for temp control. one of the top 3 chips (along with the high end yihi chips (not the low end ones in the P4U mods) and the FSK chips (in the hohm slice and hohm wrecker G2) )Ok so Im already lost . Do u have DNA and do u use tc .
Do the coils need to be spaced for tc ?
I got 6 x Vtc5a for this mod.

Ok thanka budDNA's are great for temp control. one of the top 3 chips (along with the high end yihi chips (not the low end ones in the P4U mods) and the FSK chips (in the hohm slice and hohm wrecker G2) )
VTC5a batts are excellent.
You don't need to space your coils
You DO need to select the right profile to match your wire type.
You need to select your battery set up. If you have a 2 cell DNA mod it's 19.24kw/h for those batts and 2 cells. If it's a 3 cell mod it's 28.86kw/H and 3 cells
DNA's have the steepest learning curve of all the mods IMO. you are gonna want to get familiar with escribe for sure. Which mod did you get?
Ok thanks will take a look tonight when the kids are sleeping so I can get a peaceful looklol, watt hours is just for a more accurate battery bar in the "mod" tab in escribe
there will probably be an update for it, as well, download escribe 1st, update, then do battery settings
its worth just looking through escribe to get your head around it, you can add different wires if & when
then your gonna go with 28.86kw/H and 3 cells for the battery set up in escribe. unfortunately i don't have a profile for that one but i have one that's compatible with my traid 250. I'll take a look when i get home and upload it here for you to use. I use the same batts in mine so it's set up for it already. I dropped the Ni and Ti profiles though as i don't use those wires and have SS316, SS430, Nife30, Nife 48, and power mode profiles. The rx version isn't the best for TC though due to the 510 issues it can be more erratic then the other DNA mods. lots of people have had their 510 pins upgraded on theirs for much better resultsOk thanka bud
I got the reuleaux dna 200View attachment 122319
