Hi guys thank you all for helping me choose the mvp v2 in my previous post.
So far I am absolutely loving thus beast but my main question now is about the watt and voltage setting? How can I find this sweet spot I hear people talking about. I know it's trial and error but I'm afraid of messing up and breaking it lol

With the volts and watts or just the one?

All depends on the liquid and tank/cart/clearo - roughly around 8 watts/4v is where i keep mine.

as i understand it, the watts & voltage settings are independent modes. That would mean if you set it to say, 3.8v, you would be in voltage mode & you would vape at 3.8v.
If you set it to say, 9watts, it will measure the resistance of the coil & adjust the voltage throughout your vape, giving you a consistent vape until it needs charging..... Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

Yep, you either vape on voltage mode or wattage - in watts mode whatever resistance your coils are at the MVP will adjust, so if you vape a 2.4 atty and then a 1.8 they will be the same vape as the MVP has adjusted accordingly.

I usually toot anywhere between 6.5-8 watts depending on juice. Mrs Lords Custard cream doesn't like high watts so I have that at 6.5 for it to taste the best and fruitier vapes are more 7-8w juices for my taste.

Theres a bit in the Wiki on this if you want details but just run in Watts mode, that way if you change to a tank with a different resistance coil the Mod will recognise that and adjust itself to keep at the wattage you set - if you use volts it doesnt do it itself and you have to adjust everytime you change tanks...

Cheers for your help guys! I'm slowly learning, just didn't realize how complicated this stuff was at first lol

Watts is like auto mode, volts is manual. You know you're gone too high when it starts to taste burnt. Thick juices need lower power because your wick might not be able to keep up.

Voltage Mode is like manual mode.
You set the voltage and it is not affected by your coil.
On a positive you have more control but on a negative you can pop your coil if you run too high volatge.

Wattage mode is like autopilot.
You can still adjust the power as such but the MVP will use your selection in conjuction with the coil resistance to work out the voltage.

If you are quite new and still learning voltage / resistance etc then stick in wattage mode and start at 6w and creep it up.
Personally in my MVP V2 I use Very Berry Cool from Vapology which tastes awesome at 11w on a 1.5ohm iClear 30 head.

Although some juices start to taste nasty once you hit 9w plus.

Just experiment and find what works for you buddy.
