Right. I'm incredibly thick when it comes to maths so I've been trying to work out what I can get out of 50ml of 52mg of PG nic base in to a 50/50 mix equalling 16-18mg strength. Using the forums calculator I have come to this figure

Target mixed base 150ml (50/50 mix)

51.9ml of PG nic base + 23.1ml of PG =75ml
Then add 75ml of VG to the PG mix to equal 150ml of ready mixed nic base with a consistency of 50/50. Now it will just be a matter of adding flavourings when I'm ready to make smaller quantities. Am I on the right track here?

You certainly are.. what base nic are you look for?

What I do is half 50ml 52mg PG nic with VG end up with 100ml 36mg 50/50 then half that again with 100ml VG and end up with 75/25 VG/PG 200ml at 18mg. because flavours are PG, it bumps the PG level up a wee bit in the final mix.

I will be using a PG base nic of 52mg and will dilute it to get between a 16-18mg base as I'm now vaping 18mg strength e juice when I'm not stressed.

Remember its ok to premix your base but when your using a flavour like Capella at 20% then sweetener and maybe ethyl maltol you may be diluting 25% or more so if you we're at 20mg nic it would go down to 15mg

Yes! What Andy said! I went from 16-18 to 12 easy peasy no problemo, didnt even notice!

Hmm, I forgot about the PG in the flavourings. I will have to up the nic level to say 25mg in my base mix then by the time I add the flavourings the end results will be roughly what I'm aiming for

Rightyho so if I have a bottle of 50ml of 52mg strength of PG nic base I can get 120ml of 22mg strength out of it by mixing it with my PG and VG so when I add flavourings to a max of 20% then this will bring my final target nic strength down to about 18mg. Is this right?

Seriously, I can't do the math if I dont use the calculator past the 50% mark!
