Hi guys and gals I'm having a bit of trouble with wicking my deck it's fine for a couple of hits and then it's burning the crap out of my throat any help much appreciated

It might be the pic but it doesn't look like enough wick in the coil.

What are you wicking with? What wattage are you firing it at? It does look a little thin in the coil but I'm more inclined to think its not wicking fast enough

Real cotton firing at 18 to 20 but just re wicked now

Get a pin and pull it through the cotton like a comb to straighten and fluff the ends. Make them long enough so they only just loosely touch the deck

Just done thanks if it still burns I'm going back the shop tomorrow and slapping it on desk telling them sort it but thank you for the help

Persevere, I was reading something the other day by Chegs (i think) about wicking bring part skill, part science and part luck. I've had to rewick my kf4 3 times today ( first go with mini) and its still not right.
