Hi guys

I have got the itch again and would like to try something a little different. At the moment my kit consists of a vamo v5 and a protank 2 with adjustable air flow controller. This works well for me but just wondered how the kayfun would work against the protank? My local shop has various kayfuns in, which is the one to go for? I would like one with adjustable airflow ideally. Also how long would the coils tend to last once built?

Cheers

The Kayfun would blow the Protank away mate. The Kayfun Lite Plus (KFL+) is the one to go for. The coil, if its a good build could last a good while as long as when you change your wick you give the coil a little clean to remove all the crap and gunk but personally we change our coils quite often and always when changing flavour.

How are you at building coils mate?

Kayfun is a whole new ballgame versus the protank....only reason I continue with protank is im waiting for a glass tank mod for the kayfun

Thanks for the replys :)

I haven't built a coil as yet but it looks okay when I found guides online. It would save me money in the long run too I guess building my own. Although I thought that when giving up the ciggies. Now I just spend more on tanks and mods lol.

What coil and wick would you recommend using?

Cheers

The Kayfuns are the best to learn to build on. Search out the tutorials section for a micro coil with cotton. Good luck mate and if you get stuck just ask ;)

Its really easy to set up a kayfun with a microcoil and cotton. You'll never go back to a protank once you've tried it

I really want to go down the kayfun route too but have never recoiled anything before. Bit intimidating

I've got a KFL+ clone vapes good when it don't leak but the leaking might be my own fault but a lot better vape then a pro 3 very airy draw

Dead easy, you tube for videos, stealthvape for silica and kanthal wire, and also have a look in the how to do section on here 'rewick a protank' it really is an easy task. However must warn you a kfl, is A great piece of kit, but it is the start of your ruination, it will not end there. Enjoy the kfl and have a look at vapegeek great kit and service.

reuben - Have a go mate, honestly the Kayfun is just about the easiest thing out there to coil. If you're gonna start somewhere, then the Kayfun is a damn good place. I've got a few of them and have never regretted buying them for a second, which is something I very rarely say.

Go for it.
