Kayfun Lite Plus spitback and crackling

I have used this type of deck/atty for a few years and allways go for the same build as it works so well for me, Kanthal 26awg 5/6 wraps 3mm id gives me around 1 to 1.2ohm and gives a very good vape at 13/14w with no problems at all, should mention that I test fire and carefully compress the coils to make sure they glow evenly before I put the cotton in.
I used this on my Kayfun 5's and now my Dvarw DL FL's. I see you have Kanthal so worth a try.

Seems like bad power settings caused the issue. But I don't understand, been running this build on Kayfun Prime for years and there were no problems at all. Maybe just the lack of juiceflow control causes the cotton to overwick, the juice gets on top of the coil and causes the spitting. I prefer using a little bit higher power bacause I like when the vapour is warm. Thank you all for the replies.
