This was bought with my own money and in no way reflects the opinions of POTV and professional vapers.
So I purchased this beast from here
BLACKHACKS.COM
Love the way the price you see includes delivery so no extra surprises at check out, nice touch.
Payed for yesterday afternoon and dispatched shortly after it arrived today
So it is packaged in a sturdy box with the Kayfun Monster V2 logo emblazoned on the front
Inside the box you find your Kayfun Monster assembled with its poly carbonate clear window, a stainless steel tank section, a poly carbonate bell cap, Kayfun Monster drip tip and a very decent bag of spares including the much fabled little blue screwdriver.
So I popped a coil on (my coil of the moment a triple twisted 28 AWG kanthal 3mm ID 6 wraps) which came out at
A bit higher than intended so will be 5 wraps next time.
Added some cotton
And cut at the top of the chimney as per my previous Kayfun builds
Juiced the baby up and wedged some of the wick in the juice channels
Then put the monster together and filled via the fill hole at the bottom
Here it is on the VS
So first thoughts are its the Kayfun I've been waiting for. I've been a fanboy of these for some time but like a lot of vapers I've now moved on to an airy draw and found that my original 3.1s just don't cut it anymore.
With the improved airflow (HUGE) this has really caught up with the current range of sub-ohm tanks out there. Plenty of vapour and flavour to be had. The build quality and threads are comparable with original RTAs and RDAs that I own. I think a couple more builds will really refine the experience.
Would I buy another?
Priced in the same league as Kanger, Cthulhu, Goblins, etc yes I would as I think it brings much to the table along with the choices of tank options. Just not right now as I need to curb my shinyitus.
