Review Kayfun monster

Ok will try and take some later.
Rebuilt it again. Still not overly impressed. [emoji53]
Can't be right as airflow seems more restricted than my kf4

The air holes aren't that big for inhaling airflow as that is restricted by the pin!

The holes are so big as to cool the block and stop the insulators melting :)

Thanks guys....All sorted and with another rebuild using 24awg kanthal @ 0.74 ohms she is vaping and looking sweet. ;)

Blackhack on your site's dropdown menu for 'products' there seems to be a spelling mistake. It says 'Kayfum Monster'

Just thought I'd let you know :8:

Really like the look of this tank, never owned a Kayfun before. All spent up for the next few weeks though & the Aspire Triton will be out then as well :12:

Oh well, the life of a vaper is not an easy one with so many shiny things

That would be my problem then, I was expecting more vaping airflow, I really don't think I'm suited to kayfuns. I keep having a recurring problem whereby the bubbles don't rise in the tank and the vapour production and flavour eventually become extinct. Had it with all my kayfuns, this one, the v4 and the 3.1's.

Could one of you fine Ape's do me a favour please. I've had this tank for a week now but like a numpty I stripped it completely down and gave everything a good wash, have to say it probably didn't need it, cleanest atty out the box I've come across. Anyway after it was washed I set it aside to dry and that was as far as it got. Come to put it back together today and I notice a couple of the big red O rings are darker in colour than the rest and, I think, very slightly smaller too. I'm guessing they are supposed to be the ones on the top caps but would someone mind checking for me.

The slightly muted red ones? As far as i can tell one goes on the top cap, the other is probably the base ring above the double barrelled airholes.

I know this a topic about the monster, I'm trying to get to grips with it. I would like to add that the Taifun GT2 is ffing amazing, got it on a 1.45ohm build, wasn't intentional to build that high. It's awesome, clouds (not so important), flavour & airy draw (both very important) a go go.

Edit: side by side vape test of the monster and GT2 going on, perhaps I was a bit unfair on the monster, it's holding up very well against the GT2
