Kids are Kids and I'm of the opinion that they should be allowed to be kids, rough with smooth. I remember being one. Apart from parental guidance and up bringing with regards to the basics of right and wrong, education from school, and a few hints towards social skills, I believe kids should be pretty much left to themselves.
Again, with regards to kids and vaping, the only thing that could ever so slightly, course me concern, would be parents/adults actively encouraging kids to vape. My same feelings apply to smoking.
With the freedom of knowledge available these days, there's hardly even a need for parents to lecture their offspring about the "dangers" of this or that. Most kids already know.
Keeping your kids safe from harm, is the only priority and the tough thing, as parents, is to keep this as subtle as possible without coming over as dictatorial to the point of causing rebellion.
