I have just had a quick visit to the updated Mixing Supplies section of their site www.leisureliquids.com and - wow! It's becoming a bit of a haven. There are now several varieties of tobacco leaves on sale for steeping and it's a bit of a 'One stop shop' for everything else.

I really really really want 2 of these:

One I think will be brilliant to use as a steeper for vanilla pods. The other though I would like to walk around with like a pomander in pubs where real ale farts permeate the air. At this point if it gets too guffy, I will set fire to its contents and start swinging it around the head of the offending beardy farter like Rasputin with a censer.

Yes they would be..., a good green tea or an Earl Grey. Never thought of that either - not a big tea drinker and don't think I have any loose leaf stuff. Maybe I should get some when I lose weight next year - Green Tea is supposed to suppress appetite. Or have I got that wrong and it's some other tea? I could even get some chamomile tea in and nonce around like some hero from a Danielle Steel novel.

Green tea is one of my other great loves. It is great for just about everything, antioxidant, full of vitamins. I get mine from www.tea-and-coffee.com and can highly recommend their budget dragonwell, as it has a light fruity flavour without any bitterness that people seem to find in other green teas.

Yes, you could use it in the pub Bryan or you could use it for the Vanilla Pods that went on sale in site after this posting:friendly_wink:

I'm going to have a dabble at mixing I reckon, can't afford the gear till after Xmas ...but what's the basics I need? (I have asked this before .. But I'm too lazy too look ) and what outlay am I looking at?

54mg 30ml PG
100ml VG
The binder thingy
The sweetener thingy
And an element of luck. Oh, and those Salifert 1ml syringes will be brill for measuring.

bottles tho .. Need bottles n ting presumably?
how do you mix .. Is it some esoteric art.. Or is it put it in a bottle and shake?

There are some advantages of mixing some bits before others. I need to check up on that.

I suspect nic mix to non nic would be better as it will dilute or saturate easier but that's a guess.

Bottles. JBL test kits or empty bottles cleaned, in soapy water or alcohol will do.

Looks like it's not a saving as such if you want to make say 30ml mixes (I will get 3-4 30ml with the above and cost about £45 for that) but say 3-5ml to play and get the right ones then go for larger 54mg units in the next order to make large amounts of stuff you like.

I am, but also trying to get Helen into is as she smokes still (she is getting a MVP for Xmas) and then we can cut of cigarette cost. I still smoke a few, more so to be social with her as it's awful outside weather wise.
