I have a new battery but it's a 3s which has 4 pins for the balance connector but the problem is my mod has 5 pins
I'm wondering if I can somehow swap over the balance connector from my old 5 pin battery and connect to my new 3s battery

Erm I'm not sure, and I wouldn't want to advise you something that could be dangerous

I would of said no because 3s and 4s have different connections for a reason so I wouldn't of thought it would be advisable to swap onto a smaller battery. I may be totally wrong. I know it's a silly thing to say but have you googled it?
