Egypt was what made us get a tank, but a 6'x2'x2' full reef was time consuming. Loosing £1000+ of corals was the worse bit. Didn't have my heart in it after that

I just can't justify the amount of money on a tank anymore .. when there is just so absolute much that can and does go wrong with a perfectly functioning tank ... its gutting

I snorkeled the blue hole in 1991! The Sinai was semi-militarised then. It was all us wasters getting stoned and playing backgammon in weird campsites. I'm having a nostalgia overload.

its still pretty militarised .. for the Egyptians at least .. road block checks every few hundred yards ..

they leave the tourists alone .. but the Egyptians get a hard time - I think coz we see it as all touristy . and built up etc that we sometimes forget its a police state.
