Lockdown V3

technically not true most practices for people who don't turn up for the vaccine that vaccine then goes to someone else be it a nurse or doctor, vulnerable adult, etc it's a slow uptake I know most of my pct is now not wasting a vaccine

you are not obliged to have the jab but they are not all being wasted the blame for the shots is not the giver but the lovely press that we love so much the first doses had a bad press I see no more of that headline now all I see are 364 calls jamming switchboards coming in from frightened people not fitting the criteria all wanting a jab

I take your point, but if a message was sent to myself today saying I had an appointment for a vaccination at the nearest place at 14:00 on Friday, then I would not be able to make it, as I have already arranged a visit to a London hospital on the same day on another serious health issue (latter part true)

Should I not be able to contact the vaccination people to explain the circumstances, and say offer my dose to someone else ? Can you give me another date ?

If I cannot contact them, and simply do not turn up what happens, does it work like all of my other check ups, where if I do not turn up I am taken off the consultants list, and a bollocking letter sent to my GP, so that through no fault I am then denied a vaccine shot in the future ?

I appreciate what you have said about vaccinating people like nurses doctors etc with left over shots, but there is a finite life of the vaccine.

this is we’re it gets complicated the vaccine comes in batches of 30 (maybe 36 can’t recall cause I’m tired just got in ) so if you have 70 people in say a care home etc or 70 people on the books at a doctors they order 90 jabs so have 20 left over so they call other people to get there arse there to have a jab so you have nurses care staff HCA,s dumping cars with doors open at the doctors and legging it in

in theory you should be able to postpone the test but as others have said it’s seems to be a one one way system

but what do we expect Hancock has designed this for the peasants it’s not a clever system

They call kitchen cupboards cabinets.

That's because they are cabinets, certainly the ones above the worktop, in the trade we used to call them header cabinets, anything under the worktops was generally called a base unit.

Bloke should get together with Priti Patel, the dream team;

Keir Starmer indicates backing for more Covid measures
Keir Starmer has suggested he would back further Covid curbs, saying “the tougher the restrictions now the quicker we get the virus back under control”.

Answering questions following a speech to the Fabian Society’s new year conference, the Labour leader said he was “still worried” by the number of infections despite signs they are falling.

Labour have failed to provide any real opposition for 10 years, don't expect them to start now.
