Lockdown V3

I dont think his security personnel were on the back of his bike. He was in his local area and he was exercising and had a mask on, sounds like he was following the rules and being responsible.
I tend to only go out with my security detail and hair stylist just in case any paparaatzi are around.

I tend to get followed by security personnel, particularly when the pubs are open.
I have said to some of my mates, and they said they were the police.....................

what people are saying is that travelling 7 miles isn’t the local area, especially in central london. but especially when you consider the 7 miles travel wasn’t to arrive at a quiet place with less people, it was in fact to go and cycle around a popular and busy park, full of people who do actually reside in it’s local area.

Actually Boris rode 7 miles to the park, circled it, and rode 7 miles home.
He did not even stop in the park.

Bit like if I find myself at the Scottish border, I go round the nearest roundabout, and bugger off in the direction of England.....................:18:

I take the Lad I look after, who is in a Wheelchair, about 8 miles to a Big Park with a lake and plenty of secluded paths, on a regular basis, not to provide exercise for him, although I get plenty, but to get him out of his room, and get some fresh air in his lungs, and also to benefit his Mental Health, I think that is more important than exercise for him, when we were stuck in his House the first time round, he was climbing the walls and became really aggressive !!!

Well nice, and caring of you mate. :)
What sort of state would he be in without you.
Good on you ! :hugs:

Apparently Boris dad got his second jab 2 days after people were told theirs would be delayed (to which it was announced 10/12 weeks away).

Surely is one rule for one when it comes to the government

His appointment had probably already been sent to him by then.
From what I can make out from a news item a woman received a text message from the NHS with a date, and time for her vaccination.
She did not wish to attend because she thought there must be someone in more need of a jab than her.
But she could not cancel it, once she got that text message, that was it, no contact details or anything, even for if you had an accident on the way to the vaccination centre.
So if you receive an appointment you have no choice, attend, or your shot goes in the bin !

glad to hear you are doing the responsible thing. best for all concerned. :)

Not at all.
The UK government says "stay local"
But as usual Sturgeon, and the SNP decide to have a tinker with that, and say well in Scotland we are going to say limit of 5 miles from home.................

Maybe if the majority of people in Scotland had not voted SNP the you would have the same rules as England. :)

it’s not 5 miles from home, bez. we can travel all the way to the end of our cooncil area and then venture for a further 5 miles.

8.046 :)

Why do you want it in metric ? were you a remainer / remoaner ? :18:

Metric would mean more faff... That's what it's all about, isn't it?... Government by confusing faff just to keep us on our toes...

I didn't vote. After the long term effects of POTV's Brexit threads I can't remember how I would have voted... probably Liberal...
