Login apologies

It now takes about 5 or 6 or more attempts to login and therefore be able to make a post. I have done all the steps (clear cookies etc) but iots getting worse and a bit of a chore.

Mines been a bit 'on/off' recently. Sometimes I'm straight in first time, and that's it for the day, others it's, login, login again immediately, then it's the same for the rest of the day, every time I open the forum.

Every time now. Log everything out, shut every browser page. Clear the cache. And if I'm lucky I might get a login. perish the thought that I might accidentally login to the home page....repeat steps 1 through plenty.
I barely view the forum anymore. And I don't like Tapatalk. I've got wifi/4g why should I settle for half the experience?

happened to me a few days ago.

what worked for me.
log in on top right.
log out top right.
log in again top right and this time it (should) take you to the white background page with your user name and password.
log in there and then it should save your login.
now im logged in automatically every time i click on saved bookmark.

That's what I've been doing save for the bookmarking part, still have to log in once (x5) per day but at least it's not every other page any more. Sometimes when I switch page it'll log me out but then on the next page I'll be back in, this only happens to me if I'm logging in at work (Chrome & IE), at home on my ipad (Chrome) I have no issues at all. I'd assume that the login system is allocating invalid hashes to the cookies that it places based on useragent, or it's local-database of hashes is being throttled to death.

We got someone looking at this at the minute. If they can't sort it we are going to kill the log in system as we know it's a bit flaky. Apologies to those of you who are struggling with it, fingers crossed will get it sorted very soon one way or the other.

I have tried the method above and still same problem. I am now being logged out even after the white login page is obtained. Seems pretty random. It's a frustrating 5 minutes or so every time I want to post.

It seems to be the login page with the "remember me" tickbox that does the trick for the day, the tickbox doesn't do anything but at least it seems to stick longer when using that page.

The admin team have asked me to pass on their condolences for this dreadful experience and assure you that (as the most valued member of the forum) this matter is being addressed with urgency. Not for anybody else, just for you because you're special.

In the meantime we have posted you a voucher that entitles you to an extra 50% of the experience that, when you plug the code into the log-in page, should bring your experience up to the full 100% as a temporary measure.
