I've been out of the vaping scene for a long time (I ended up smoking again) but I'd really like to give up smoking again but I have absolutely no idea what to get. I need a reliable mod and an idiot and leak-proof stock coil tank. I want something that works and is really easy to use. Nothing fancy.

Can anyone recommend a set up for me please? What is currently the best configuration on the market in the UK?

Welcome back and glad you're trying to get back off the stinkies, bit more info required, when you were vaping were you DTL or MTL vaping as that will determine better advise as to what kit would suit best

If dl vaping the nunchaku 2 tank did it for me. Have a kit here if needed.

Hi and welcome. Let us know your vape preference.

Thanks all. I was looking for a DTL stock coil tank and quality reliable mod that will last for a year or more. I guess I have a total budget of about £150 for the mod, the tank and some spare coils. If it could be a 18650 battery mod that would be better as I think I still have some of them lying around. But if I need to buy new batteries and a charger then I am happy to do that. It'll be cheaper in the long run than smoking.

I'd say best stock coil tank would be freemax mesh pro 2 tank or the horizontech falcon 2 (not the king) some reviews in below link

Completely leak free stock coil tanks will normally be top airflow tanks, but I never had any leaking issues with the original freemax Pro

Both run best at fairly high wattages so I would suggest a dual 18650 battery mod, whatever you like the look of really, depends on use is it more for at home or you going to be carrying everywhere

Geekvape aegis range and virtually indestructible, voopoo argus gt is very compact for a dual battery mod, vaporesso gen, freemax maxus 200, dovpo odin, then there are some higher end mods like the lost vape cerburus or paranormal,

At the end of the day any dual battery mod that you like the look of or maybe even a single 21700 battery mod,

Theres also pods and allinone kits that are alot smaller for portability, I generally use these more for out and about, can fit a few in your pockets and I use with 20mg nic salts saves carrying large heavy mod, batteries and liquid, where I use my larger subohm mods at home/cat with 3mg strength shortfill liquids

Some other apes may be able to help better with the subohm stock tanks, but if was gonna go with any it would be the freemax Pro 2,

As a beginner mod i would go for a Vaporesso one, all pretty good plus there a quite a few styles and sizes, very reliable as well. Tanks are a matter of taste but the ones that @Cozy suggests are very good. I think out of your £150 budget you should be able to get batteries and juice as well. Good Luck with the quitting.

Voopoo Drag X is all what you need for a succesfull back to vaping. Coils from MTL to full DTL. Cheap, clever and nice kit.
