Looking too start mixing, question about nic

Hi people.

Am looking to start mixing but am confused about the nic bases.

I know I need a base, pg, vg and a concentrate.

Had a play with the potv calculator and see it gives me mls of base, mls of pg/vg and mls of concentrate

Eg
Ingredient ml
PG or VG 6.5
Flavouring 1.0
Dilutant 0
Base Nicotine Liquid2.5

Thats to make 10ml using 10% flav, 72base resulting in 18mg.

Ok this I get. But now I'm confused about the base, I see you can buy pgnic base or vg nic base, do I have to take into account what my base is when I calculate my final ratio, or do I just divide up the PG or VG value to get my ratio?

Ie, based on the values I pasted above with the 6.5pg or vg value, for a 50/50 juice would I do 3.25 of each?

Or if the nic base is pg would I do 4.5vg and 2pg too make a 50/50 juice

I hope that makes sense too you guys.

Also, which base should I go for?
If I vape pg heavier juice go for a pg base, vg heavier juice go for a vg base or doesn't it really matter?

Ur flavourings are normally pg so for 50/50using pg nic base it woul be...

2.5 nic base
1.0 flavouring
1.5 pg
5.0 vg

If using vg nic base

2.5 nic base
2.5 vg
1.0 flavouring
4.0 pg
