When you get you wire and cotton wool have a bit of a practice wrapping the kanth round the drill bit, pulling the drill bit out and filling the coil with a bit of cotton wool, you get a feel for how that works while you still pass the time

I was admiring the shinies at grey haze in digbeth today - really shouldn't torture myself !

Everything is ready, I have kanthal, wick, organic cotton, drill bits, tweezers, micro blow torch, pliers, rubbing alcohol and god knows what else....

Everything apart from my kraken, apparently my FT order arrived in Heathrow at 07:43 this morning so hopefully no time in customs and it will arrive soon ! I bet not before Easter tho

Ok top tip for coiling is to leave the drill tip in when connecting the coils to the attys,

however thats ok if you can pop the drill in the wick hole but if you are not doing that sort of set up,

and want the coils at right angles to the wick holes then instead of drill bits

use the plastic sticks from cotton wool buds much lighter and will not fall out

So my FT arrived !! Happy Easter Saturday
My first build - single coil 1.1ohm first shot !
Not a great build but it's vaping pretty well

Nice one M8,enjoy it,and why worry about pretty coils, if they work you cant see em so why bother,vape and enjoy

and wait till you try that dual coiled,short draws to start or lose a lung lol

Cheers Grizzly Adams nice little micro coil, actually better than I thought.
I did try a dual, came out at 0.6 ohms got scared and took the 2nd coil off !!
I'll start with baby steps I think
