I was thinking... we leave juice to steep for weeks and isn't it mainly because VG is so thick? What if our juice was mostly PG.. wouldn't the flavour mix in almost instantly? Or would it still take a long time even with low levels of VG?

I mix at 50/50 I only vape fruit flavours and mint/menthol, I leave them for a week minimum. And there is a difference

The steeping process is not just about 'mixing' it's about the flavours having time to interact and bloom...it's more like marinading, allowing time for infusion it's more than just a case of simple blending together. If you haven't got the patience to allow DIY stuff to steep then lowering the VG isn't gonna help you whatsoever.

A month!? Damn that's a long time. I'm steeping my juices.. I just find it hard cause now I've got nothing I can vape right now. What did you vape while you were waiting for liquids to steep, when you first started steeping liquids?

Fruits are pretty much shake & vape IMO.
Make plenty, stuff to keep you going and stuff to steep.
Once you build up a 'stock' it is easy to toot steeped juice BUT mix more and put it away for steeping.

I tried Apricot and Peach flavours both alone and together shaken and vaped. They both had a raw chemical-taste. I had the same raw taste from shaking and vaping Apple & Mint. After leaving the Apple & Mint for one week the flavour was less 'distorted' and far more pleasant. I'm sure it depends which fruit concentrates you are using. What brand do you use?

I solely use Emporium Vapour and TFA.
Green Apple is not to bad straight of - have you tried the apple & mint as single flavours?
Better to have something to keep you going whilst others mature.

I use flavourart for most of my concentrates. Their fruit flavours are lovely, very realistic & more like fresh fruit than a candy fruit. I find the fruits are great to vape straight away.
