Hi all,

First of all im quite a n00b with vaping and really just in this for the flavours. I have the above tank and have been using the strip & mesh coils for a few months and i really dont rate them they barely last a few days. Is there a cheaper easier alternative tank or coils i can use for max flavour, i dont mind trying to make coils if not too advanced.

Any advice would be great

Thanks guys

You’ll need to invest in a rebuildable tank mate. Either an RDA (a ‘dripper’) or an RTA (rebuildable tank atomiser).

Alternatively you could buy another stock coil tank. The vaporesso skrr tank is average to be fair and there are better ones on the market.

Have a look at the reviews on here. A bit of googling and video watching and you’ll see how easy it is to make your own coils.

That's odd as a few of us where discussing how the recent vaporesso tanks (skrr and cascade) where the best tanks and coils for flavour and lifespan currently.
Buddy's the waters a bit.
The above advice on switching to rebuildable tanks or drippes is spot on for maximum flavour but the coils should be lasting better.
Are you using thick sweet juices.

The skrr is okay. I got one with my gen and it’s well, okay.

Agree on the point about the coil life however. Unless vapenoob is chaining or vaping very very sweet thick eliquid then 2 weeks per coil should be possible

Agree, kind of, mine was the SKRRS but used the same coils. I found them underwhelming and nothing great. Dryish vape to me which I dont like. Also found the strip and mesh to be the same taste and they both gave up around the same time, so much for the extended lifespan of the strip one! Coil life yeah, typical of most mesh now. I'd never buy those coils ever, for me I dont rate them so far as my vaping preference taste wise is.

I've been through most of the subtanks over the last few years. Funny enough I'm not a long term user of stock coil subtanks but barely a week goes past when I haven't got one on test. As you say the vaporesso coils lasted well and the flavour was excellent for me. Possibly pipped by the New aspire odan which was exceptional but huge.

Again it highlights our differences and the impact juice flavours, type make.
I actually still rate the smok q2 coils despite qc.

Hi mate how you going!? o_O
Yeah it does, have found some others think are ok to be great and visa versa. Im always hesitant for that reason recommending tanks. I love the Naboo and ordered some more coils for it, others dont rate it.

All good bud. Hope your good over there.
Yeah, recommending subtanks is like recommending juice. But in other respects they can be so similar if it's not your primary vaping device (even sharing the same coils) it's hard to pick differences between. Often a coil from one brand being used in another brands tank gives the best results.
The fireluke offered something individual and the aspire is the first sub tank I've tried that really gets the airflow right. So many tanks have huge airflow slots but the coil choices always restrict that airflow making their huge size redundant.
The coil in the oden has an airflow gap that's bigger than a 510 drip tip.
We're reach a point of homogenization.
Keeping an eye for new stuff. Saw a stock coil sub tank with a bf pin the other day which I think was interesting and opens squonk mods up to stock tank user's as a huge reservoir.

Im good mate, thanks.
They do some dont they, big air slots, restricting coils. Thats what I like about the Naboo, both right open so you could breath through it if you wanted to.:18:
Recently I got some mesh coils for an old Herakles 3 tank I shelved. Didnt rate the vjet coils to my taste, sat around for ages forgotten. Then saw some real cheap mesh coils for it so got some. What a difference, I'm loving that tank with those coils. Looks goofy being a tall tank compared to those around now but it vapes lovely.
Cheers mate.
