What are you setting the power to on the dvarw? You say 7-8w higher than your berserker. It could just be that it’s too much power for a tank with 1mm airflow and a small chamber.

I think this maybe the case, and if so the heat sink won’t make any difference as the excessive heat is coming from the coil.
