measuring OHM'S on valkyrie??

Had my valkyrie a couple of weeks now this evening i've successfully dual coiled it i believe, multi metered it and its coming in at 2.4 ohm's but at 2 x 5 wraps of 32awg kanthal i was expecting around 0.9 to 1.2 ohm's so my questions are

1 As its duel coil should i halve the figure i have

2 should i subtract the multimeters resistance ( heard somewhere you should )

3 Are my expecations miles out lol

Never having a hybrid I was unsure too when I had my Valkyrie so I just searched YouTube and found this short video the simplest explanation but obviously with no 510 I went from the posts

@bronbunbet thanks mate, i decided to use the posts too subtracting the meters res gives me ohm's of 1.1
