Mech Mod Battery

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the site, but iv been vaping for a good few years and I have decided to take the plunge and go for a mech mod. I have a pretty decent knowledge of the ohms law, but just asking for advice to clarify so I don't blow my face off.

Im running the wotofo profile 1.5 mesh RDA, with a 0.16 mesh coil, I'm wondering what type of battery would be best for this set up? I'm looking at getting a 18650 with a minimum discharge of 30amps to be safe, but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

A Samsung 20S or Sony VTC5 have the Amp headroom for a 0.16ohm build. As regards mesh & mechs, I've done it, won't do it again . I know MrJustright1 (Mr Profile) does use the Profiles on mechs but it's way too hot for me personally.

With a fresh battery you'll essentially be putting around 100 watts through that mesh, def not for me especially with the Extreme mesh strips if that's what you're using, you'd be better off sticking a coil in it/using another rda.

I wouldn’t put a mesh coil in the profile at that level either. Stick a decent 3mm fused clapton in instead!
