Mechanical mod

My mechanical mod does bot have lock switch, can i walk around outdoor with it in my pocket or is there any tip.

New to mechanical mods... hit me with some tips.

I would not unless i took the battery out and put the battery in a safe battery box if i was not going to use my mech for a while other wise i would just keep it in my hand that way i no it wont auto fire in my pocket there are mech mods out there that have a lock switch that you can pick up quite cheap like the Vandy vape pulse.

If its one where the button sits flush and you push it inside the mod (SMPL etc) then I carry mine round in my pocket and it doesnt have a lock, but is impossible to fire by accident.

I just keep it in a pocket on its own to ensure nothing can happen but maybe this is bad advice, same as experienced drivers drive with one hand on the wheel etc.

If in doubt, take the battery out

See when you get sloppy with mechs... that's when they bite you on the ass. Don't be that person.

Mmm, you need to be super cautious with a mech, especially avoiding any chance of autofiring. If it ain't got a switch lock just set it down when not in use or take the battery out when traveling.

Unless it has an extremely light through to the switch (amount of pressure need to push the switch in order to fire it) you should be fine carrying it in your pocket IMO. I carry my mechs in my pocket and have never had a problem with one firing.

I usually unscrew the battery cap so no contact for the battery a slight rattle let's me know I've done it or unscrew the rda or rta so it won't make contact. one thing you didn't say is the mech a hybrid 510 or normal 510 like a box mod i.e spring loaded
