Hi all, can a mech mod be used with a clearomiser like a protank or an iclear 30? or would it just not work ?

Yes it can.
They work just the same, you just don't get the benefits of variable voltage / wattage.

as long is it doesnt have a skirt on the base covering the 510 threading they will work on a mech...most ce4's wont but protank 2 etc will....you can always buy a 510/ego adapter for a couple of quid and they will then fit

Depends because protank for example needs air flow from underneath so won't work on an m16 for example as there is no adjustable air flow but would work on a nemesis or chi you I should think as these both have adjustable air flow
