Wattage of a mech mod

Thought constantly sipping on water and vaping was mandatory. "I'd rather die, then be dry"
I hardly drink anything through the day, I did think vaping caused dehydration but I never seem thirsty. I've drunken alot of rum and whisky over the Christmas period.

I mean no disrespect to the thousands of happy mech vapers but for any new vapers, in these days of safe controlled vaping why would you ? We owe much to the early vapers who laid the path to what is available today but there`s many a slip twixt cup and lip.

Completely agree fella but there is one thing these mechs have over pods and mods....once you've got one, bar major accidents, you've got it for life. Of course there's a big learning curve to ensure safe practices and these should always be adhered to.
In my 10 years of vaping, especially in the early days, I've amassed well over 20+ mech mods and every one is still working perfectly. Some of them are a work of art and mechanically very sound. Sadly the majority of gear today has a fairly short shelf life. There are exceptions as some of my earlier mods from back as far as 2014 still work.

All this babbling makes me reflect on early electrical training... volts jolt, amps kill.

All this focus on volts when the battery CDR amps is what you should be building to.

Volts, Current and Resistance have a direct relationship with each other. When building any coil its imperative that the current drawn doesnt exceed the CDR rating of the battery you're using. 20A to 30A from an 18650 battery, depending on what battery you're using is about the max safe working current that can be drawn. A long as the resistance of your coil doesnt go to low and you know what current it's likely to draw when using a voltage between 3.2V and 4.2V , if it doesn't exceed the CDR Amp rating of the battery it will be safe to use.

They were built to last 10 years ago mate.

Apart from the obvious safety issues that can be present when choosing to vape on a mech some juices dont react well to the high temperatures that are generated from a full charge and if they do they are unlikely to give the same flavour once the current starts to drop off during use.

I find mechs really good for dessert type flavours due to the high wattage it puts out.
