Ass kissing gets no where with me. While I appreciate their "support" of POTV, it does not excuse the behaviors we have witnessed on the forum and the harassment through email and our Support Ticket System.

Lets not turn this into a slagging match though It is after all only (almost) 2 days before xmas. I wish them all the best of luck in the new year...some where else.

I don't know about any other posts,but the one on this thread that seems to have resulted in a ban didn't read (to me)as anything more than a failure in the humour dept.The emails though....that would deserve a ban.

When I saw MT's post reminding us of the rules,I did wonder why we needed a reminder.Then I saw a few posts with the word "BANNED" under the posters name & all became clear.

I'll not try to tell an Admin how to do their voluntary work either as I don't wish to attract their angst/anger/irritation or "insert suitable words" as I have angered a Mod on another forum once,simply by asking if they were a member of the "funny handshake gang" meaning a Freemason & he took it to be gay.

We don't ban a lot of people, seriously, our ban list consists of 1 fake account created by this vendor, 3 by a member who was harassing another member, 1 member who threatened me and the team with physical harm, 1 guy for trying to hack the forum, 2 members for harassment of mods and admin....and 2 compromised accounts. Any others are byproducts of spam that I haven't deleted.

That's our list in 1 1/2 years and over 6100 members. I think that's pretty impressive considering the amount of things we deal with on a daily basis.


Seriously, we're really easy going, the membership can vouch for that and pretty much the only way you are going to attract angst/anger or irritation, is if you harass members of the forum, act like a total douchebag and members start complaining, or harass/threaten the POTV team. It's got to be pretty annoying and over the top in order to get banned.

I know,I know, but less we should forget and i alway feel sory for those members who didnt have a clue what was going on on the other Thread
