menthol crystals

Ignore drops per ml, the way you find that is to use your own dropper and get a measuring cylinder or device then drop until you reach a level, by counting the drops you can work that out - there is no standard drops per ml across the industry though.

Just use % or ml

that was the reason why I was asking - measuring drops is too vague for vaping juice mixing (it is fine for cooking and baking). Also ml are so much more difficult to measure, a slight tilt of the measuring device and you could be off.

I might just weigh some stuff once I have the ingredients and see how they work out.

Measuring by weight and percentages is just easier. Jewelry scales are pretty cheap on eBay.

i guess its not so bad if your making 100ml batch of juice as if your off by a couple of drops it equates to prob less than 0.1%, but when doing samples of 5ml that then multplies considering and can make a huge difference in flavour. Obviously this is fr personal use only no plans to set up my own cottage industry just yet lol ( though if i did come up with something magical i might send out some samples for peoples views.

still questions to be asked though as looking around ive seen for instance 24mg nic PG. now surely if im aiming for say a 60/40 mix id be hard pushed to achieve it if i want to end up with 12mg nic ( based on 3 flavourings at 15% )
so im guessing 54 or 72 nic is the better option

1ml syringes are hardly inaccurate really, in 0.1ml graduated steps and with graduation points inbetween allows you to be pretty precise even in a 5ml mix.
Phantom Diablo - order 54 or 72mg nic, I personally wouldn't bother with any lower than that as it gives scope to create the flavour and strength you need

Small size syringes work best, i have stopped trying to use drops per ml, it is subjective at best.
You might be able to get smaller syringes at local pharmacies, if not the ebay is a safe bet, i measure through a blunt needle or draw tube, then remove the needle or draw tube, that way i know i am as accurate as i can be.

just need to get some funds together to get the nic base and stuff.
was looking at one of the diy kits ive seen for £25.. but actually seems expensive for whats included when i can get 100ml of 54 nic pg for around £10-12 and vg and pg for 100ml is around £3 each. ive got bottles and couple of syringes

though i wonder with this kit
http://www.thealchemistscupboard.co.uk/product/mixing kit

72mg nic base so to get to 12mg nic do i need to dilute by 6 x or use it as is with the calculator

so for example.
using 72 nic VG with 3 flavours ( 15% ) creating a 10ml bottle ) i would need according to this if i want a 60/40 pg/vg mix

1.67ml of nic base ( base don 72 mg vg )
4.4. ml of pure PG
2.33ml of Pure VG
then the 3 flavours

does that look right?
