Micro Coil Question

I've made a micro coil an placed it into my kayfun 3.1 and all fires but after 3-4 hits I get this really horrible burnt taste.

I've stripped it down and on of the legs on the coil gives off and orange type of spark/flash, is this a short?

Aye sounds like a short, is the coil touching a post or the deck?

Thanks for the reply, I can't see at the moment as me in a clever mood decided to fill the tank lol, I'll remake a coil tonight as I've just purchased an ohm meter and some 28 gauge kanthal wire.

Hopefully my new efest purple makes a difference too

defo a short if its flashing and giving off sparks... as for the efest purple batts, they are the boll#x if you've got the 2100mah 18650 high drain 30a as they seem to last a good days vaping

I do have the 2100mah 18650 @ 30A, used my mod all day and after 2 days it's only dropped down 6%, my evic would eat 30% battery a day.

I've rebuilt the coil and all is good now.
