Bought my self a set of scales today and I'm wondering how accurate they are and how much diffence the readings will be compared to others. The scales I got only do 0.1 as couldn't find any that weigh upto 600g x 0.01 for under £80 if anyone has any links I'd be much obliged.
So I Googled pg/vg as they seem to be pretty standard 1.26g vg 1.038g pg but my nic (pg) came out at 1g and flavours 0.9g measured a pg blackcurrant and some red astaire both were the same, just wondering what your weights are and if my weights are accurate.

These are the weights I use (seem to match what you found ). Although I assume 1gram for flavour not 0.9.

My scales were from Myprotein for about £20 a few years back, go up to 100.00 grams. Can obviously tare it to make more than a hundred in one go. But I doubt the .0 difference will cause you much grief, just round it up.

Would never go back to measuring by ml and faffing with syringes etc!

I bought these scales for £13 and they have been perfect so far. They are accurate to 0.01g and weigh up to 500g.

The values I use are 1g/ml for flavourings and PG and 1.3g/ml for VG, which having taken advice from @scrumpox, appears to be accurate enough for us amateurs.

Flavours deffo came to 0.9g would of thought it was the same as my nic but like you say 0.1g different probably won't cause any drama.
Did 2 30mls yesterday and so much easier.

Cheers mate I'll check those scales out.

Edit.... How I didn't find them the other day I don't know, spent 4 hours googling scales lol.
Ordered a set, I'll be happier with those being more accurate.
Cheers bud.

What about nic? My nic is VG based so would the nic also be measured at 1.3g/ml as per the VG?

Cheers

ould say those weights are fine at he quantities you are talking about -

inaccuracies multiply over volume .. so on say a 5 or 10 Ltr mix that would be pretty damn inaccurate ... but on 100 etc .. its not going to be a lot to worry about.

Is it pure VG and Nic ? or does it have a water content ?

if it has a water content (often does to help the two elements mix) the weight will be different.

Ah right cheers, pretty sure its in pure VG, i got it from pirate vapes.

Cant see anywere in the listing stating its got any water content or AG so im guessing it indeed is pure.

Yes, at least I use VG nic' and I use 1.3g/ml for it. Hasn't killed me yet.

Edit: Sorry, professional answer while I was typing.
