Mixing for beginners

I have actually had to have a break from looking as i'm getting so worked up, £1.75 for a 5ml syringe, £1.99 for a 10ml syringe!!! WTF:banghead:

I am however, liking KMS's find as above as a really good value kit and good value accessories :goodjob:

I would have suggested yours if you had nic, pg and vg available :P

leisureliquids still has the cheapest syringes and bottles I can find

2 quid for a syringe does sound a bit steep lol

Catch 22, Offer a good value nic bases but sting the customer on the syringes, which they will buy as they won't want to pay for postage again. There's profit and there's robbery! I may be a vendor but I am a customer too!

Have you purchased a kit yet Markfletcher007? How's it going if you have?? I keep looking at one but think working percentages out is putting me off the mixing route!!! :diy:

I'd have welcomed something decent when I started and think basic kits are a good idea. On another forum some of the grumpy old farts were going on that you don;t need them and that they are a rip off because they can buy 2 litres of food flavourings in a supermarket for 9p, get a 40 gallon drum of only slightly dog wee contaminated 200 mg / ml nicotine base from a friend for a fiver and all the syringes they need simply by scouring the floor of the local public toilets. I think the kits are a great idea as they tend to provie stuff that gives you a good chance of making a success. And what's left over (and its usually concentrate and some dillutant) encourages you to have another go.

There's enough in that to make 100ml of top quality e liquid - with a few leftovers and the mixing tools to do more. So that works out at £4 per 10 ml bottle - and it could /should be delicious stuff. Your next mixes will be even more cost effective and most Capella based DIY mixes are better than a lot of commercially sold premixed juices.

Hey Markfletcher007 - you purchased a kit yet and had a go? Any luck??! I've done 2 mixes - one was not great, the other not too bad, but still feels like there is something missing from it!
