Hi all
Got a little problem with my mixes at the moment, I have just made the following mix

sarsaparilla
Rum
Heavy Cigar blend

PG/VG 70/30
18mg Nicotine

Now the problem I have is I have lost the throat hit on this mix...even though I always keep my dilutent ratio's the same across the board, its happening every other mix where I lose the throat hit....can flavours sometimes lose the hit? ...I am perplexed over this as its only every so often, and its starting to drive me nuts....:sleepy:

I have kept my heavy cigar mix the same for many weeks, as after many hours in the lab...I cracked the case...do you think some blends need more PG...the steep time on this brew was 3 days.

Thanks for any help on this.

What voltage are you vaping it at and what kind of clearo/attie/carto?

Some flavours are tougher on the throat than others. For example I have a really tasty pineapple but it will kick in the back of the throat like nothing else, I always use the same base ingredients too. I think some are just smoother than others.

Cheers guys, @Kurl....im on a ego c 650 bat (clearamizer tank)...which is new as I was on an iClear, so thought it would be an ok kit to keep me going til easter when I get my provari....

@Purple...thanks for the flavour info.....the rum and cigar mix gives me the hit no problem...but as soon as I added the sarsaparilla, the hit went....so starting to believe the point you said, as some flavours for me are losing the throat hit.

Looks like its back to the lab, maybe I need to keep note of the juices that are not giving me the hit....which is a shame as its a fine flavour with the sars.

You could add a touch of vodka to get some TH on the juices that are lacking.

What he said. Adding either vodka or caffeine will up the throat hit. 10% vodka will probably knock you over. When adding Vodka best start at something like 2.5%. If you get up to 10% and the juice gets too runny, up the VG ratio and add a little more flavour - VG will hold it better than PG.

Well guys what can I say...added a few drops of vodka (Belvedere Unfiltered in the cupboard from xmas)....and boom my kick is back...so thanks guys for the heads up.......so instead of deionised water to thin my vg I just use the vodka...or just add a few drops in the mix like I have done?

Thanks again forum members....awesome ..
