Hi there,

I just bought a few flavours from Real Flavours...

These are alcohol based, question is -

When I'm using the POTV calculator do I just treat the flavourings as PG based?

Surely this would result in less PG in the mix, say if I wanted 50/50...?

Just wondering what people did in this situation?

Thanks.

But then you've still got to add a flavour in either PG or VG, so it's still gonna be off...?

Plus, you can't input the exact amount, only works as 1% at a time...

That Make My Vape calculator isn't very accurate, it only goes to .0

I'd definitely recommend the POTV over that one where it goes down to .00

I don't mix small quantities so it's ok for me.

Hi all,

I used ejuicemeup for quite a while, liked the fact that it was standalone, so no need to be connected to the internet when using it, and your recipes could be stored on the hard drive.
Yes, there is n option to add water, or alcohol, that's another of the reasons I used it.
I like as little PG as possible, so one of my standard mixes is 70% vg 20% pg flavours, and 10% water, or vodka.
This gives me a result of only 20% pg, but a lot thinner than standard 80vg/20pg because of the thinning liquid, so it wicks really easily.

Whilst coming up with a mix for someone who is PG intolerant however I found an anomaly in the software in that although you input VG base nic, VG bulk, VG flavours (bugger to get hold of) and water, the result kept coming up with an error telling me to add more PG !!!!!

So I started doing my own calculations on a spreadsheet.
I did find an online calculator that seemed to handle though, will try and find a link to it later today.

OK I get that but you won't be able to ask it to do 100%vg then add say 5% water that's why it's asking for pg. You would have to set it at 3pg/97vg just add no pg your looking at a difference of about 0.15g so just don't add the pg.

I really don't understand the answer you posted, first of all you talk about 5% water, then you say 3pg/97vg, that is 3%.............
Also you say don't add the pg, but there is no pg................
